Nature hasn't spoiled the area's charm. Skępe was located between five lakes. It was a long-inhabited place, of great defensive value, as evidenced by three nearby fortified settlements. The architecture is also charming. There is an extremely picturesque complex of the Bernardine monastery, and in it the shrine of Our Lady of Skępska. A special patron of families and conception.
