The Astronomy Center of the Nicolaus Copernicus University is the largest observational astronomy center in Poland. Includes the Chair of Astronomy and Astrophysics and the Chair of Radioastronomy. The Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics located in a picturesque park makes it possible to visit, among others the largest telescope in Poland, fully modernized - a 90 cm reflecting Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and a historic Draper astrograph. In the Department of Radioastronomy you can visit, among others two radiotelescopes: the largest in Poland and our part of Europe - 32-m and 15-m radiotelescope. Visiting the Astronomy Center of the Nicolaus Copernicus University is only possible after prior notification. The center educates students of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science, and also serves space observation, scientific research, and dissemination of knowledge about the universe.
