Address: ul. Poznańska 191 , 87-100 Toruń
The institution was established in May 2004. The main building worth visiting is the Battery built in 1895-1896. It was erected in place of an earth mobilization battery - A.B. IV from around 1890 (Armierungs Batterie IV). The name for the battery with the armored turret was maintained in the sources, as inherited from this earth battery, despite the complete change in the nature of this artillery position. A.B. battery IV is one of the most interesting objects in the Toruń Fortress. It is a unique facility on a European scale - the battery is an experimental and unique model. The museum also includes a half-armor battery for three 10 cm cannons, erected in 1898, its ammunition shelter and many types of unique shelters, exhibits and exhibitions.
